Hoptimist Woody Bimble Small

A Hoptimist made of wood - just as it was originally intended by designer Gustav Ehrenreich. For this reason Lotte Steffensen has Woody Bimble redesigned.

Ehrenreich, who launched the Hoptimist en in the 1960s, was a trained cabinetmaker. From the very beginning, his greatest wish was to produce the Hoptimist en from wood, which has since matured into a classic, but this was not possible with the techniques of the time. However, time worked in favour of this development: in order to realise Ehrenreich's dream, the cheerful Bimbles are now also available in wood.

This is a piece of true craftsmanship, a high quality product assembled entirely by hand. The oak wood comes from sustainable European forests. The natural material gives each individual Hoptimist en its distinctive look. A special detail: the eyes are inlaid in wengé wood and give the figure its liveliness.
