Distinguished by five mouth-blown, sandblasted glass shades, Rime diffuses a gentle, inviting light, ideal for living areas, dining spaces, or refined hospitality settings. The carefully crafted shades use up to 75% recycled glass, underscoring a commitment to sustainability without sacrificing visual purity. The chandelier’s linear suspension is constructed in die-cast and machined aluminum, realized in finishes such as White, Black, or Aluminium Grey. This squared, minimalist form provides striking contrast to the delicate curves of the glass, while exposed screws and technical accents bring a subtle industrial edge. Durability and longevity are integral to the concept: each component—from glass shades to cables and aluminum suspension—can be replaced as needed, reflecting thoughtful design for lasting use. The structural integrity is enhanced by a steel aircraft wire, and both the cord and canopy are fabricated from PVC and injection-molded ABS. Notably, Rime is produced without intentionally added PFAS, aligning with contemporary standards in responsible design.
