Giving the impression that the letters have been carved out of the dial with a chisel, this watch attempts to treat graphics as form. The shadows cast by the engraved letters give the dial a three-dimensional feel, and the appearance changes depending on the surrounding light. The idea for this watch came from the repurposing of materials and techniques used in interior decoration.
