Hay Result Chair , Black/Lacquered Oak

the result chair, designed by friso kramer and wim rietveld for ahrend in the 1950s, has been relaunched by hay in collaboration with ahrend. a simplistic combination of sleek steel frame and curved plywood seat and back, result was regarded in the 50s as a masterpiece in the innovative use of sheet steel, and it has maintained its fresh appearance until today. thanks to its light and functionalist design, result used to be a popular chair in scandinavian schools, and it has been widely used in both public and private contexts. framer and rietveld created the result chair as a pair for the pyramid table, which makes a perfect match for the chair. result is available in several different combinations of base colours and wood finishes.
